Pool Operation Level I

Instruction and practical sessions in swimming pool operations. Topics include water circulation/filtration, disinfection and water balancing.

A course within the Recreation Facility Operations program curriculum offered by MACA's School of Community Government.

This program is designed to maximize the lifespan of recreation facilities in the NWT by ensuring effective operation, maintenance and management of existing and future facilities through the training of competent recreation facility personnel. The program is based on the occupational standard for recreation facility operators.

What will I learn?

The program provides instruction on key competency areas for recreation facility operators to provide operators with the skills and knowledge to operate and maintain facilities effectively.
