WHO SHOULD REGISTER?
Completion of the AFM Educational Program is the first step to getting your Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) designation. The AFM Program is comprised of fourteen courses. Five of these courses are offered on-line by AFOA Canada.
These courses begin February 6, 2012:
AFM 5: Values & Ethics in the Aboriginal Workplace
AFM 6: Aboriginal History & Developments
AFM 14: Aboriginal Human & Fiscal Issues

Payment Policy
Please note that the full registration fee must be received by the semester start date of February 6, 2012.
The remaining nine courses required to receive your CAFM designation are delivered by colleges and universities across Canada.
They are:

AFM 8: Micro & Macro Economics
AFM 9: Financial Accounting: Assets

During a successful meeting in Norman Wells with over 100 participants and a packed agenda, the NWTAC announced changes to its leadership.
In the weeks leading up to Emergency Preparedness Week, NWT residents should work to ensure they are prepared for emergencies. In the NWT, this time of year preparedness is particularly important. With the spring melt and many people heading out on the land as weather improves there are increased risks relating to floods and being stranded in remote areas.
