Katlodeeche First Nation is seeking a reliable, dependable Recreation Coordinator

The Recreation Coordinator reports to the Chief Executive Officer.  The Recreation Coordinator will plan, develop and implement recreation, culture and community events. The coordinator will also work with the recreation committee and other non-profit committees within the community.

Qualification

  • Grade 12 diplomacy or equivalent
  • Recreation Leaders Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate commitment to and involvement in Sports
  • Level 1 or 2 coaching certification
  • Knowledge of and interest in traditional cultural activities
  • Supervisor and program  management experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with aboriginal youth
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Eligibility for a class 4 driver’s licence
  • Provide a criminal record check
