 By-Law Enforcement Officer:

  • This is a permanent full time position;
  • Strongly Self- Motivated and Highly Organized individual is needed;
  • Evening, Weekend and Shift work will be required;
  • Previous knowledge or experience with By-law enforcement, Municipal and Territorial Legislation is preferred;
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License; 
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Firearms Acquisition Certificate and a Certificate of Completion of the Hunter Safety Training Program;
  • Experience interacting with the general public, lawyers, Town Council Members, and other employees in the Territorial Justice system is also preferred;
  • Equivalencies recognizing related experience will be considered;

During a successful meeting in Norman Wells with over 100 participants and a packed agenda, the NWTAC announced changes to its leadership.
