Aquatic Supervisor – Term Position, Maternity Leave
Group 4 – Step 1
$56,850 per annum + Housing Allowance, $5400

Reporting to the Director of Recreation & Community Services, the Aquatic Supervisor will manage the general day to day operation of the Aquatic Centre. You will provide leadership and practical direction to aquatic staff, design and implement daily programming, general administration, and ensure regular pool maintenance. The Supervisor will also lifeguard and instruct programs as necessary. Hours of work may include shifts on evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Your experience and certifications will include:
- Minimum two years aquatics supervisory experience
- Lifesaving Society Certifications:
- Instructor Trainer
- Swim Instructor
- NLS Instructor
- Lifesaving Instructor
- CPR – HCP Instructor
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Aquatic Emergency Care Instructor
- Pool Operators Certification – Level I & II

During a successful meeting in Norman Wells with over 100 participants and a packed agenda, the NWTAC announced changes to its leadership.
In the weeks leading up to Emergency Preparedness Week, NWT residents should work to ensure they are prepared for emergencies. In the NWT, this time of year preparedness is particularly important. With the spring melt and many people heading out on the land as weather improves there are increased risks relating to floods and being stranded in remote areas.
